Day 1

Kuelap Fortress + Cable Cars

We pick you up from the hotel in the city of Chachapoyas and travel 1 hour by tourist bus to the viewpoint from where we observe the Macro Archaeological Site. We continue 8 minutes and arrive at the Telecabinas boarding station. We then travel 10 minutes by bus to the departure platform to board the Cable Cars, travelling 25 minutes to the tourist inn cable car destination, we will then walk 20 minutes to the pre-Inca Archaeological Site of Kuelap.

Inside we will see more than 500 circular constructions, of which the Templo Mayor and El Torreón stand out, some decorated with rhomboidal friezes and stylized beings. Then we return to the Cable Cars and return to the town of Tingo, where lunch will be held. Finally, we return to the city of Chachapoyas and transfer to the Gocta Andes Lodge.

Day 2

Gocta Waterfall

We begin our day of excursion to the Gocta waterfall, undertaking a walk of approximately 2 hours on a path surrounded by sugar cane plantations and other agricultural products in the area.

Continuing with the tour, we can observe the cloud forest, which is home to different species of birds, giant trees, liana vines, palm trees, orchids, ferns, bromeliads and other epiphytic species. At the end of the path, you can reach the base of the Gocta Waterfall. (Taking pictures, etc.).

Afterwards, we return to the community of Cocachimba for lunch and return to the Gocta Andes Lodge.

Day 3

Free day

To complete our itinerary, we will enjoy a morning of relaxation in Gocta before returning to the city Chachapoyas at 1pm.
