Day 1

Welcome and discovery of Chachapoyas.

Reception at Chachapoyas airport: Upon arrival, our staff will welcome you and transfer you to your selected hotel.

Check-in: Time to settle and rest after the trip. Free afternoon for exploration: Take the afternoon to discover the charming city of Chachapoyas at your own pace. Known for being one of the safest and cleanest cities in Peru, it offers a quiet experience.

We recommend you stroll through the historic Plaza de Armas and admire the colonial architecture, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the Luya Urco viewpoint, and relax in cozy cafés while exploring shops with local handicrafts.

Day 2

Kuelap Fortress + Telecabinas.

9:30 am / 5 pm – 6 pm

We will pick you up at your hotel and then we will drive on a tour bus for about an hour to visit the Macro archaeological site. Then, we will continue for 8 minutes until we reach the docking station. From there, we will take a bus for 10 minutes to the exit platform to board the cable cars, with a journey of 25 minutes across the mountains until we reach the arrival platform. From this point, we will walk about 20 minutes to the pre-Inca archaeological site of Kuelap.

Within the site, you will have the opportunity to admire more than 500 circular ancient constructions, among which the "Major Temple" and "El Torreón" stand out, some of which are decorated with rhomboid friezes and stylized figures.

After exploring Kuelap, we will return to the cable cars to return to the town of Tingo, where we will enjoy lunch. Finally, we will embark on the trip back to the city of Chachapoyas.

Day 3

Gocta Falls

9:30 am / 5 pm - 6 pm

We start our 1-hour journey from Chachapoyas to the Cocachimba community. At 10:30 am, we start a tour that can be on foot or on horseback, with an average duration of 2 hours until the waterfall.

During the journey, we will observe the local agricultural activity, afterwhich we wilk walk through the dense vegetation typical of the mist forest (habitat of the cock of the rock and other birds). We will find giant trees, liana vines, palm trees, orchids, ferns and bromeliads.

Arriving at the base of the waterfall, we enjoy free time to take pictures, among other activities. Later, we returned to the community of Cocachimba for lunch. Finally, we returned to the city of Chachapoyas to spend the night.

Day 4

Farewell and transfer to the airport.

After enjoying a wonderful stay, our team will pick you up on time at your hotel and will comfortably transfer you to Chachapoyas airport for your return flight.
