Itinerary

At 7:00 am, our team will stop by your hotel to start the excursion to the Gocta Falls. We will travel an hour to the community of San Pablo, where we will start a two-hour walk to the first fall.

During the tour, we will enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the high jungle, we will visit pre-Hispanic rock art, and with luck you will have the opportunity to see the national bird of Peru, the ‘cock of the rock’, as well as orchids and endemic plants of the high jungle.

Upon arrival, you will have free time to take pictures. After the visit, we will descend for one hour until the second part of the waterfall, which has a height of 540 meters.

Then, we will start a 6 km walk to the community of Cocachimba. Finally, we will return to the city of Chachapoyas.
